Applications are now being accepted for a Casual Registered Nurse to work in Ambulatory Care. The successful applicant will be required to work weekdays 0800-1600. The minimum commitment to this position is one shift per calendar year with the availability to cover vacations and sick calls as needed.

Education

  • Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses
  • Current BCLS required
  • DeSouza Chemo Therapy Certification preferred

Skills and Ability 

  • Experience with CVAD’s and PICC Lines
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and commitment to client centered care model
  • Demonstrates leadership as defined by CNO Standards
  • Crisis management skills
  • Excellent physical assessment skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team 

 Work Experience 

  •  2 years recent experience in Emergency medicine or medical-surgical nursing is required.
