Applications are now being accepted for a Casual Registered Nurse to work in Ambulatory Care. The
successful applicant will be required to work weekdays 0800-1600. The minimum commitment to this position is one
shift per calendar year with the availability to cover vacations and sick calls
as needed.
Education
- Current
Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses
- Current BCLS
required
- DeSouza Chemo
Therapy Certification preferred
Skills
and Ability - Experience with CVAD’s and PICC Lines
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal
communication skills
- Knowledge and commitment to client
centered care model
- Demonstrates leadership as defined by
CNO Standards
- Crisis management skills
- Excellent physical assessment skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as a
member of a team
Work
Experience - 2
years recent experience in Emergency medicine or medical-surgical nursing is required.
