Background

Applications are now being accepted for two casual Medical Lab Assistants. The successful applicant will be required to work a variety of shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays. This position is available immediately.

Education

• Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Assistant Program

• CMLTO Registration-General or Hem/Chem/Blood Bank

Experience

• Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry experience preferred

• Phlebotomy

Skills/Ability

• Able to prioritize and perform reliably

• Able to work with little supervision

• Able to be on call

• Able to participate as a member of the health care team

• Computer skills

• Phlebotomy skills

Other

• General good health and a level of fitness appropriate for the demand of the position
